W ubiegłym roku firma Sabian ustanowiła stypendium imienia Doma Famularo (SABIAN – Dom Famularo – SEN Mentorship Award) jako roczny grant dla utalentowanego, aspirującego perkusisty lub utalentowanej, aspirującej perkusistki. Tegorocznym zwycięzcą był Maksym Logosha z Ukrainy.
Otwarto już zgłoszenia do kolejnej edycji. Można je nadsyłać w terminie do 30 listopada b.r. Perkusistki i perkusiści mają szansę na zdobycie nagrody, którą są ekskluzywne sesje mentorskie z wiodącymi zawodowymi perkusistami, a także grant w wysokości 2500 dolarów.
Applicants must complete an online form and submit two videos, each between 2-3 minutes in length. In the first video, the applicant is to demonstrate their playing in whatever manner they choose (song or solo). In the second, the applicant is to tell the judges (in English) what they would do with the grant and how it would help them achieve their career goals.
Kandydaci muszą wypełnić formularz online i przesłać dwa filmy, każdy o długości 2-3 minut. W pierwszym filmie kandydat musi zademonstrować swoją grę w dowolny sposób (utwór lub solówka). W drugim kandydat ma w języku angielskim opowiedzieć sędziom o tym, co zrobiłby z grantem i jak pomogłoby mu to osiągnąć swoje cele zawodowe.
